Group Bunting....the progress

Here's some photos of what we got up to last night.

We missed you Helen and BJ

Cut the triangles using a template - we used a rotary cutter, but scissors is fine.



 





 
Here are some finished triangles






 




 
trim the point as close as possible without cutting the stitching, turn inside out and press.

 Pin the triangle to the bias binding
Sew along the bias binding making sure the triangle is tucked firmly inside. Space the triangles as you wish. I like a space but I've seen nice bunting where the triangles are very close together.

Not sure my sewing "skills" would have been much help to you... but I hope to see you next time! The bunting looks great.

Brilliant, love it.
Come to think of it I made bunting for the house for Jubilee year but I just used a single layer and hemmed the sides, perhaps double would have been better.
Sorry I missed the club this month. BJ
