The Festival of Quilts Highlights

Thank you to everyone that visited The Festival of Quilts 2013.

The show was a huge success with a 10% increase in visitors attending the show. We also had over 700 quilts entered into the competiton from all over the world - with a phenomenal quality of work on display. For a list of winners, visit our website

2013 was the first year of the Fine Art Quilt Masters competition category which was won by Dorothy Caldwell and her quilt: 'How Do We Know When It's Night'.
We are delighted to be hosting a full gallery of Dorothy's work at this year's Knitting & Stitching Shows.

Join Prima and Get Crafting

If you are looking for fresh inspiration for gifts or decorating ideas why not come along to the Prima Make & Take Theatre and create something personal and unique. They will be demonstrating a range of skills that include: appliqué, wood and glass engraving, stitching, embroidery, decoupage and more.

Lots to do & see at the show

The Knitting and Stitching Shows are packed with inspirational activities for anyone with a passion for textiles. Some of the highlights include:

- Rowan will be offering free to attend fashion shows at The Knitting & Stitching Show held in London Alexandra Palace. The shows will take place daily in the Great Hall at 11.30am 1.00pm and 2.30pm.

- The Upcycling Academy, hosted by Fabrications offers a range of projects from rosette making to knitting with waste fabric and lots of other great ideas to bring life to old cast-offs!
